Born on 15th  April, 1963 to Late Taba Tat and Mrs Taba Yaza at Bilo village under Lower Subansiri District of Arunachal Pradesh, Taba Tedir was the 2nd child in the family. He did his primary schooling upto Class V from Govt. Middle School Yazali and there he secured a Scholarship for his meritorious performance in the examination. He passed Class X AISSE in 1980 from Doimukh Higher Secondary School with 1st class and was awarded Governor’s Award for his meritorious performance.

He passed out Class XII AISSCE in 1982 from Delhi Public School, Mathura road New Delhi. He graduated in Civil Engineering [BE] in 1986 from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur. Taba Tedir began his successful career on 11th August 1986 when he joined the Arunachal Govt. Service as Assistant Engineer PWD. He was promoted to Executive Engineer on 28th November 1992. He was promoted to Joint Director-cum-Superintending Engineer [UD&H] on 14th August 2008. He was promoted to Chief Engineer -cum- Director on 1st September 2009. Finally he retired from active Govt. Service on 31st January 2019 after spending 32 glorious years of service in the state.

AWARDS & RECOGNITION:

In his entire service life he has received many awards among them are Gold Medal State Award by Shri K Sankarnarayan,  Governor of of Arunachal Pradesh on 15th August 2007 in recognition of his meritorious service and a Commendation Certificate by Shri S.K. Singh, Governor of Arunachal Pradesh on 15th August 2006 in recognition of his meritorious service.
